Legacy recently held its annual Employee Appreciation Awards event. At this celebration, employees are recognized by the company and their fellow employees for their accomplishments during the past year.
Every employee is eligible to receive an award gift based on their years of service with the company.
In addition to service awards, special awards in recognition of team members who have gone above and beyond are given each year.
Legacy Special Recognition Recipients:
Employee of the Year – This honor is given to a dedicated individual who exceeds expectations on a daily basis. Employee of the Year: Derick Wilson, Inventory Control Supervisor.
Excellence in Client Services—Awarded to the individual who provides outstanding service to both internal and external customers. Employee Honoree: Barry Saindon, Warehouse Manager.
Department of the Year—This is awarded to the department that most exhibited outstanding service to either or both internal / external customers. Department: Vehicle Maintenance Department.
David Quinn Work Ethic Memorial Award—Awarded to the individual who most represents the spirit which David Quinn stood for: High Work Ethics. Employee Honoree: Alex Rodriguez, Warehouse-Interstate Dock.
Joseph Migliozzi Innovation Award—This award goes to the individual whose forward thinking, ideas, products, suggestions, cost saving proposals or the like, prompted or created a significant change for the better. Employee Honoree: Ken Schramm, Warehouse Director.
After the official awards presentation, the entire Legacy team – in San Jose, La Mirada, Chicago and Las Vegas — was treated to lunch!
