Fall of 2014 is when the 17th annual Oracle OpenWorld took place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. For many of those years, Legacy has been a contracted logistics carrier for the event. This year, Legacy handled more than 120 truckloads to the Moscone Convention Center and various hotels and other venues in downtown San Francisco.
The event is so large it shut down Howard Street, between the Moscone South and North Halls, where exhibit structures were built as an extension to the exhibition. The Oracle America’s Cup boat was a centerpiece of the display.
The event attracted approximately 60,000 attendees and 500 partner and customer exhibitors. Oracle OpenWorld is a huge undertaking for all involved and Legacy’s event logistics team was on-site before, during and after.
