Legacy’s founding partners formed Legacy Transportation Services in 1990 as a company dedicated to going above and beyond the call, to ensure that customers’ transportation and logistics needs are met in a timely and professional manner. The initial focus was to provide custom solutions to the trade show and high-value product industry, and now services have expanded to a complete range of transportation and logistics offerings. The Legacy team now consists of a staff of 180 highly trained and skilled individuals, whose primary objective is to provide premier service for the specialized needs of various high technology industries.

John Migliozzi, President
John’s experience in the transportation industry began early. As the son of one of the founders of the former Three Way Corp.; he worked through the ranks of driver, to account executive to vice president of the Trade Show Division at Three Way Corp. He developed innovations for trade show transportation, a mobile exhibit program and corporate trailer branding.

When the former Three Way Corporation closed in 1991, John and his partners formed Legacy Transportation Services with the goal of providing the industry’s finest customer service.

Today, John drives the direction of the trade show and mobile exhibit programs. His 40 years of experience and knowledge guides the sales, customer service and operations staff to innovate daily to meet ever changing marketing needs of our clients.

Michael Quinn, Executive Vice President
Michael co-founded and was vice president of Technology Transit Systems, a former van line agent based in Northern CA. As vice president, Mike was responsible for sales and marketing of high value product transportation and trade show services. 

His years of experience in specialized loading, transportation and rigging of sensitive medical and semiconductor equipment prepared him lead and innovate these service offerings at Legacy today.

Mike oversees rigging operations, custom engineering of mobile exhibit trailers and Legacy’s D.O.T. certified service shop.

Shelly McAllister, Senior Vice President, Operations
Her formal education in accounting provided the avenue for Shelly to cultivate an in-depth knowledge of the logistics related to the transportation industry. Her experience came through opportunities in which she worked in accounting, international logistics, managing of customer service and van line operations for trade shows and electronics transportation.

It has been over 20 years from the day she started in the field of transportation. Her understanding of the industry has placed her in a leadership role to manage the accounting department, customer service and all operations of service lines offered by Legacy. Her dedication to quality assurance has set the standard by which the company operates.

Jim Ming, Corporate Controller

Jim has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance in a very diverse group of companies and industries. His experience includes audit in public accounting with Price Waterhouse & Co. in New York and Coopers & Lybrand in San Francisco. Upon leaving public accounting, he entered private industry as an audit supervisor. These experiences led to a career as a controller, and he has worked in a variety of industries including manufacturing, semiconductor, animation, communication, publishing, banking and others. He has helped develop and manage accounting and financial reporting systems.

Jim joined Legacy in early 1999, and his primary mission is to manage the company's accounting and financial activities. This includes ensuring that the company has adequate financial systems, procedures and controls in place to provide accurate internal and external financial reporting. He also coordinates all of the company's external financial reporting requirements with regulatory and financial institutions.
