Legacy held its annual employee appreciation event in May. The company announced its service award winners as well as a number of special award winners – including recognizing two employees who have been with Legacy for all of its 25 years!
The 2015 awards presentation had a 25 year theme as this is Legacy’s 25th year in business. The event was held at Legacy’s corporate office with employees at Legacy’s offices in Chicago, Las Vegas, Reno and La Mirada participating via video feed.
After the awards presentations, a Cinco de Mayo lunch was enjoyed by all!

25 Years of Service
Joseph Migliozzi Innovation Award
This award goes to the individual whose forward thinking, ideas, products, suggestions, cost saving proposals or the like, prompted or created a significant change for the better.
Humberto Barco, Crating Manager
David Quinn Work Ethic Memorial Award
Awarded to the individual who most represents the spirit which David Quinn stood for: High Work Ethics.
Craig Kurisu, Corporate Sales
Excellence in Client Services
Awarded to an individual who provides outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
Alex Rodriguez, Dock Supervisor
Employee of the Year
This honor is given to a dedicated individual who exceeds expectations on a daily basis.
Jorge Ruvalcaba, Lead Crater
Michael Quinn Inspiration Award
This award is in honor of one of our founding partners, who was an optimistic, positive thinker who inspired others to do their very best.
Ken Schramm, Warehouse Manager
This is awarded to the department that most exhibited outstanding service to either or both internal / external customers.
