Legacy Celebrates its Employees

Legacy has honored their employees with an annual celebration to highlight the best of the best. The awards presentation was held at the Legacy corporate office on August 19, 2015. Legacy’s offices in La Mirada, Chicago and Las Vegas joined via video feed to enjoy the festivities. Recipients are chosen by the company and their fellow employees for their accomplishments during the past year.

Service awards and gifts were also presented to employees with 5, 7, 10 and 15 years of employment with the company.

In addition to service awards, special awards in recognition of team members who have gone above and beyond are given each year. Winners received a variety of different gifts and awards.

Legacy Special Recognition Recipients:

Employee of the Year – This honor is given to a dedicated individual who exceeds expectations on a daily basis. Employee of the Year: Lisa Cantrell, Local Operations Supervisor — Operations.

Excellence in Client Services — Awarded to the individual who provides outstanding service to both internal and external customers. Employee Honoree: Cynthia Martinez, New Business Specialist in Customer Service.

Department of the Year — This is awarded to the department that most exhibited outstanding service to either or both internal / external customers.
Department: Customer Service.

David Quinn Work Ethic Memorial Award — Awarded to the individual who most represents the spirit which David Quinn stood for: High Work Ethics. Employee Honoree: Jimmy Cummings, Branch Manager, Las Vegas.

Joseph Migliozzi Innovation Award — This award goes to the individual whose forward thinking, ideas, products, suggestions, cost saving proposals or the like, prompted or created a significant change for the better. Employee Honoree: Jerry Welch, Manager of IT – this was Jerry’s second achievement in winning this award!
